-        Currently providing thought leadership to multiple clients in the K-12 industry, assisting districts to effectively and efficiently utilize leading-edge technologies to reach all students.  Responsible for implementing and supporting classroom and district-wide NT/Novell client/server technologies to address the diverse needs of teachers, students, and administrators.  Duties include demonstrating and marketing technology products, using Quickbooks to process purchase orders, managing and tracking costs and revenue with Quickbooks, Excel and MS Project, invoice tracking, procuring subcontractors and hardware, planning and managing the installation of instructional software and hardware. Also coordinating and providing training to assist teachers to integrate technology into the classroom, significantly contributing to effective utilization of technology to enhance teacher productivity and student learning. 

 

Implementation Cut-Over Specialist/Analyst                                                                                            2005 – 2008

-        Performing business analyst functions such as creating a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure requirements and change requests are accurately reflected in the release application.  Other critical delivery tasks include documenting and creating scenario tests (stories), including the configuration and testing new releases for customers, marketing and training/sandbox environments. Requires detailed knowledge of the Enterprise Application and the ability to analyze requirements/design specifications in order create code tables and configure environments that meet the needs of the client.

-         Other duties include scheduling and coordinating the deployment of a new WEB-based Enterprise Student Information System to assist a large school district manage and track over 900 schools. Primary responsibilities include coordinating with key customer staff to ensure schools are prepared to move from their Legacy system to the New WEB-based SIS application. Key tasks include: Verifying all required action items are completed by schools prior to cutting over to application, escalating to appropriate personnel, if school is in jeopardy of missing cutover date, recommending best-practice solutions as necessary, and providing schedule analysis and management level reports. Reinventing Education Grants, Application Development/Implementation, San Francisco/San Jose, CA

 

-         Managed and deployed e-Learning solutions at two IBM 2 million dollar Education Grant sites. Effectively led a team of 12 to 15 Oracle, JAVA, NT and Lotus Domino developers, architects and system administrators to create and implement Web and CD applications that led to effective student learning experiences and management of data, thereby enhancing teacher effectiveness and accurate analysis of at-risk student progress. Assured the timely delivery of the product that met the client’s needs by utilizing a proven software development lifecycle model, SDLC.
